RIO Gay Cruising 2020

Avenida Rio Branco in Cinelandia is popular with rent boys, who usually sit with hard-ons on the benches, or on the edge of the streets’ central reservations. The area is both popular with rent boys and the local gay guys. Friday, after work is popular. Guys gather at “Amarelinho” or “Verdinho” bars and watch the crowds go by.
Nudist Beach in Rio
Recreio Beach is a popular beach from nude sun bathing. It is very discreet, but the area in the woods, behind the highway is full of action. Located several km outside the city, renting a car is your best option, however the 553 bus also goes by here.
Directions: Head past Barra de Tijuca and keep going to Recreio, before Grumari Beach until the view of the beach is obstructed by the tall grass. Park on the right side of the highway and go over the wire fence to get to the beach.
We recommend that you try and grab a beachfront room if your budget will stretch that far! 4 star hotels offer great value but book fast. The newer 5 star hotels in Rio are some of the most opulent in the Latin America.
